Activist and Writer

Amy T. Paul is an activist and writer based in Jackson Heights, Queens. Amy currently serves as director of Woodside on the Move. Amy has spent 15 years organizing around issues of immigration, civil rights, worker’s rights and youth development. In addition, Amy served as a Board Member of Adhikaar for Human Rights and South Asian Women’s Creative Collective, produced the Domestic Worker’s Theater Project, and launched “The People’s Walking Tour”, an immigration-themed walking tour in 2011 as a fellow with Coro’s Immigrant Civic Leadership Project. Amy has a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in International Affairs from The New School.
