Executive Director, Indo-Caribbean Alliance

Kenrick joined ICA as it’s first full-time Executive Director in August 2015. He brings 10 years of successful management experience, with particular focus on program design, development, and operations. Kenrick has worked in New York City, Newark, and Washington, DC and has previously served as Director of Education and Career Services at the YWCA of Queens and as Associate Director of Professional Development at The Leaguers, Inc. He is deeply committed to community and leadership, founding the volunteer-run social enterprise Urban+Out and having served on the boards of Resource Generation, United Colors of Fashion, Dance Iquail, DBGM, Newark Pride, and AAOGC. He has consulted on strategic planning, development, and recruitment for national and local organizations and spoken at conferences on social justice, LGBTQ sports, and Caribbean civil rights. Bprn in Guyana, Kenrick holds a BA in Politics from New York University.
